Wound Policy and Procedure

Step 1
To initiate wound treatment, please send an email with a photo of the wound, it's approximate size and location, and the age of the wound in weeks. If this information is received before 4:00PM PST Monday through Friday, you can expect a response within two hours.
Step 2
Upon receipt of the information, you will be asked to provide the Patients name, phone number, date of birth, Medicare Number and address, so we can start the approval process
Step 3
After approval and verification of insurance, a Medical Procider from the team will visit the patient at their home, boarding care or healthcare facility. The wound will be assessed clinilcally, a discussion will be held with the patient and/or family to determine the treatment plan and obtain consent.
Step 4
A 10-weekly treatment plan will be provided within a 12-week period or until the wound is completely healed, whichever comes first.
Step 5
Upon request, a report containing images of the wound, details of the treatment, and the plan will be emailed to the relevant agency.
